Fitness-Tek Gives Back - Together we will......Help Operation Helping Hand reach as many of our Veterans as possible!

Hello, Greater Tampa Bay!

This quarter, Fitness-Tek's outreach efforts will be targeting an organization my wife and I hold close to our hearts; Operation Helping Hand Tampa Chapter (OpHH).

Operation Helping Hand was founded in 2004 to provide assistance and support for the active duty military patients and their families.

Each day, severely injured service members who have been in combat are arriving at James Haley Hospital in Tampa and the average stay for the injured is 45 days. OpHH Tampa provides for them and their families while staying here in the Tampa Bay area.

There are a few ways you can get involved with this great cause.

Fitness-Tek will be collecting items for the "OpHH Welcome Kits".

We need items such as gift certificates, phone cards, toiletry items, cell phone cards, and gift cards for dinner and gas. These items will be presented to the families of the wounded/injured upon their arrival at the hospital for their loved one's treatment. These donations can be made at Fitness-Tek's main location located at 8721 Gunn Hwy or by going to https://operationhelpinghandtampa.com/donate/.

You can also make monetary contributions via the link above if you feel moved to do so as well.

Operation Helping Hand also hosts a monthly dinner on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the American Heroes’ Café, inside the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital Polytrauma and Rehabilitation Center, starting at 6:00 p.m. All of the dinners are sponsored and catered events. You are invited to attend and show your support for our American Military Heroes. Please join Fitness-Tek March 15th as Kristin and I will both be in attendance and would love to have you as our guest.

In keeping with Fitness-Tek's motto... Together We Will, Fitness-Tek will be donating 50% of all revenue generated from our group fitness classes during the months of February and March 2018 to Operation Helping Hand Tampa Chapter.

Fitness-Tek will also be donating a full month's scholarship of Muscle Activation Technique treatments, totaling up to 8 sessions with Kevin Votta, a MAT Master Level Specialist,  to one of our wounded soldiers.

Together We Will... keep those who fight for this country, well!
